Migrating also means Unity

Description

This event is our response to this initiative concerning Chinese immigrants in the US. While migrating often time means to leave home behind for a life in an alien land, as a matter of fact, to Chinese, as a cultural concept, migrating also could mean unity. The unity breaks the boundaries set up by politics and ideologies. Under this notion, we are calling Chinese people from different countries and politically divided territories, such as Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Malaysia, Vietnam and etc, to get together to share the unique experience of this journey.

The event took in place in a gathering space at the Lin Sing Association, Sunday at 2pm, 49 Mott Street, 2 FL in the Chinatown of New York City. The conversation of experience sharing will be video taped and broadcasted on various websites.
